‘Class or Mass Mini Case Study Analysis’ After analyzing the grim situation of inventory pile up the three possible actions would be as follows, Globalization, Diversification / Direct Selling and Combos-Offers. The Neptune Gourmet Seafood discuses to create a new brand Neptune silver which would provide only a temporary solution to their inventory pile up as we see that they have substantially increased their production capacity, the problem of inventory pile up would continue in a long run for which the permanent solution would be Globalization. By going global we would be able to reach out to masses and cut down the inventory pile up. By exploring new markets the company will be able to add on to its brand value and create good will to its products worldwide. The company will be able to increase its profit base. The people around the world would have an opportunity to taste Neptune’s premium food. As Neptune’s fishing areas are spread across US they would be able to provide the people across the world different varieties of seafood found only in US. But exploring new markets would be a challenge for Neptune as they will face competition from existing players. Initially to enter a new market and create a set up would be a problem for Neptune because it will have to customize their products accordingly based on countries requirements. When it comes to going global the ethics and the law differs accordingly so to do business Neptune will have to accustom itself to the various ethics and land laws of different countries.
